Lecture 1: Using, Setting Up and Simulating w/ Atmel Studio 7

This first video in the series created by Teaching Assistant Ph.D. student specifically for CEEN-1060 (Microcontroller Applications), shows these students how to configure Atmel Studio 7 to target the actual hardware device (AT90USB1286) as well as setting up a secondary project targeting the ATmega324P specifically to be able to use the simulator for learning purposes, given that the AT90USB1286 does not have simulator support (last supported in AVR Studio 4). An overview of the simulator is given and its most (immediate) important features. Lastly, students are shown how to create a custom template that is reusable for subsequent projects. Demonstration is given in Lecture format, and is specifically adapted for our course at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Omaha Campus). Students wishing to contact the author may do so directly (they know *how*).
