This week Schony747 features classic EMB locomotive power struggling up the steep grades between Maryborough and Warrenheip Bank here in Victoria. SSR train 9196 from Nullawill is a fully loaded grain traveling to Appleton Dock Melbourne for export. Some of the grades on this section of track are very steep which tested these classic EMD locomotive. The youngest locomotive is 62 years old in what was once a typical Victorian Railways consist.
