4K Aging EMD Locomotives Rescue a Stalled Grain Train at Warrenheip Bank

English - Welcome to another Schony747 train presentation. This time it's a fantastic sounding presentation that is worth turning up the sound for! Once again some of the former Victorian Railways EMD Locomotives came to the rescue of a Qube Grain Train that had stalled up the 1 in 52 grade Warrenheip Bank near Ballarat in Victoria. G521 and G512 saw themselves stranded half way up the bank with a fully loaded consist of grain wagons. X31 from dating back to 1966 and T376 from 1964 were called on to add the extra horsepower for the final leg to Melbourne. All locomotives were on line as the stalled train started to move up the bank. The sanders on the locomotives were working overtime as well to stop the train slipping down the grade.
