The Lang Sisters Sing Heaven Came Down

from their album "The Lang Sisters in Sweet Harmony" Paul Mickelson, their producer and arranger says, "A lovely, vibrant bundle of talent is the only way to describe the Lang sisters. When a singing ministry is based on a solid foundation of talent and real salvation, it endures. Such is the case of our three lovely singing Lang sisters. It was in the early part of February 1966 when I first met the girls and heard their testimonies and voices. I knew that this was truly consecrated talent. Under the direction of our Lord, the girls were signed and recorded on the Supreme label. Since that time, it has been a joy to watch the trio grow, not only spiritually in the Lord, but in popularity throughout the world." I'm not all that familiar with the Lang Sisters (Barbara, Betty, and Cheri), but they appeared to have been well-known on the gospel music circuit of the late 1960s. Their arranger and "agent" was world class musician Paul Mickelson and he gave them terrific orchestrations that are almost over-arranged. On this particular song, he's accompanying them on a Hammond organ. The Lang sisters give a good performance and under the tutelage of Paul, they probably went a lot further than they might have otherwise. DISCLAIMER: The music I post on YT does not belong to me.
