Habrough Hotel near Immingham, unexpectedly closed its doors before Christmas 2014, after being hit hard by the economic climate. Now auctioneers will sell off its fixtures and fittings to the highest bidder. A note on the doors of The Habrough at the start of 2015 said the venue was closed ‘due to plumbing problems’ and owners, thought to be Nadine and Simon Robinson, apologised for any inconvenience caused. However, in a letter to staff dated November 2014, the owners blamed the economic climate.
