[KTM Intercity] IRCON YDM4 6181 & 6657 (Multiple Unit) With Ekspres Sinaran Selatan No. 13

The YDM4 locomotives are nowadays used on shorter express trains or on shuttle trains plying the East Coast Line and the Southern Line. However, many of YDM4 locomotives which are used to pull the Ekspres Sinaran or Senandung Services between Singapore and Butterworth, Penang, most are working under multiple unit where both YDM4 locomotives are coupled and connected together. This provide twice the hauling power of up to 2400 horsepower as well as the easier turnaround as these locomotives do not need the use of a turntable. In this case, both YDM4 6181 and 6657 locomotives are coupled together to pull the Ekspres Sinaran Selatan No. 13 to Woodlands CIQ, Singapore.
