YDM4 locos used to be leased to KTMB by Ircon till the contract was terminated. They have since been sold to different local railway contractors and Cambodia. Although underpowered compared to modern locomotives, these locomotives were extremely reliable due to excellent upkeep and maintenance by IRCON's team. YDM4s have a unique engine sound due to their ALCO DNA. These locomotives be sorely missed on KTMB's train services. LOCATION: Mengkibol, Johor DATE : 19/03/2022
