3 PixInsight Scripts I Can’t Live Without Part 1 (Save HOURS Processing!)

In this video I’m sharing three PixInsight scripts I simply can’t live without in my astrophotography workflow. If you process deep sky images in PixInsight, scripts can save an incredible amount of time by automating repetitive steps and giving you more control over your image processing. In Part 1 of this series I demonstrate three powerful scripts that I use regularly: ⭐ Star Reduction Script (Cosmic Photons – Bill Blanshan) Reduce overpowering star fields quickly while keeping control of the final look. 🎨 Colour Mask Script Create highly selective colour masks so you can precisely target specific colours in your nebula images. ✨ Narrowband to RGB Star Combination (SetiAstro) Generate more natural-looking star colours when working with narrowband data. These scripts help simplify processing, speed up workflows, and allow you to focus more on the creative side of astrophotography.
