I Tested Parallax vs BlurXTerminator on 20 Images... Here's What Happened

This week on Adventures in Astronomy, I'm putting SyQon's new Parallax software head-to-head with BlurXTerminator in PixInsight. Rather than simply showing before-and-after images, I wanted to make this a blind comparison. Can you actually tell which image was processed with Parallax and which with BlurXTerminator? I tested both tools on broadband and narrowband astrophotography data, including the Orion Nebula, Iris Nebula, Tarantula Nebula and Crescent Nebula, using both older and newer datasets to see where each application performs best. Parallax was provided by SyQon for review. They have had no editorial input into this video, and all opinions are entirely my own. If you'd like to try Parallax yourself, there's a 5% discount code below - Add 'ADVENTUREINASTRONOMY' to the checkout! I receive a 5% comission on each sale. 👇 I'd genuinely love to hear your opinion. Which images did you prefer?
