5 Things That Always Save Dinner

Some nights the fridge is full of good intentions. Other nights it’s half a lemon, a few jars, and a bag of peas. This is what I actually rely on to pull a proper meal together when there's no fresh veg in my fridge. No full shop, no planning (well, just plan to stock up your kitchen cupboard and freezer every now and then), with a few staples that help me build meals with a good mix of plants. In this video I’m sharing the 5 things I fall back on: – beans (what makes it a meal) – frozen veg (the easiest win) – jarred veg (for instant flavor) – something sharp (pickled or fermented) – herbs and seeds are the finishing touches It’s not a recipe, it’s just how I cook on busy weeknights and still end up with 6–10 plants in a meal. Full recipes mentioned are on my website: – Moroccan-style shakshuka: https://candyflosslife.com/moroccan-s... – Miso beans on toast: https://candyflosslife.com/miso-beans/ – Salmon omelette with herbs: https://candyflosslife.com/salmon-ome... – Salmon and pea pasta: https://candyflosslife.com/salmon-pea... – Pink sauerkraut: https://candyflosslife.com/pink-sauer... If you’ve got your own freezer or cupboard staples that always save dinner, I’d love to hear what they are. 👉 “More gut-friendly recipes: https://candyflosslife.com/ 📄 Grab my free PDF with 5 gut-friendly weeknight meal ideas: https://candyflosslife.kit.com/657fca... 🌿 Join the Candyflosslife community for gut-friendly recipes and meal ideas: https://candyflosslife.kit.com/1dd124...
