Trotting - Part 4 - Lines for Trotting
In Part 4 of this Trotting Playlist I take a quick look at suitable lines for trotting. Some of my favourites are long obsolete although I have some stock left so I've tried to recommend those that you can buy. My current favourite for a line that tends to float well is Dave Harrell Match line in 3lb and for waggler fishing Maxima in 2lb (actually breaks at nearly 3lb!). For a reliable hooklink for trotting I like to use Preston Reflo Power although its diameter tends to be slightly understated. My second roach fishing book, Big Roach 2, is available from calmproductions.com
