Brazil lost Oscar Schmidt, aged 68, last Friday (17), in São Paulo. His son, Felipe Schmidt, spoke with Roberto Cabrini and commented on the pain of the loss and the tributes received. “My father's passing was a huge shock. We have to take it one day at a time,” declared Felipe. “He [Oscar] understands his greatness. May his legacy continue forever,” he pointed out. He highlighted that his father had been facing health problems in the last year due to a brain tumor. Felipe recalled memorable moments with his father and emphasized Oscar's wish to be cremated wearing the Brazilian national team shirt.
