I Found America’s Story In These Historic Graves

America is turning 250 years old, and for this special Whittdocs journey, we are taking an Americana cemetery tour through some of the people, places, and moments that helped shape the American story. This video begins at Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence helped launch a new nation. From there, we visit the grave of Benjamin Franklin, the grave of Betsy Ross, the grave of Lucille Ball, the grave of George Jones, the grave of Mary Tyler Moore, the grave of the Wright brothers, and finally SAM 26000, the historic presidential aircraft remembered as the Air Force One of John F. Kennedy. This America 250 themed video is not just about the Founding Fathers. It is about the full sweep of Americana: the flag, invention, comedy, television, country music, flight, presidential history, and the people we still remember generations later. These are historic graves and historic places that help tell America’s story, from the founding of the country to the pop culture icons who became part of everyday American life. If you enjoy cemetery history, famous graves, forgotten stories, historic places, and Americana, please consider subscribing to Whittdocs.
