When we discovered Kimberly Loughry on Instagram under her account @threestarglory, we knew immediately this was a Country Sampler home. Her red, white and blue palette wasn't seasonal decorating — it was a way of life. Kimberly and Michael's Colonial-style home sits in Pendleton Place, a neighborhood in Kingsport, Tennessee that locals have affectionately named Little Williamsburg. Surrounded by Colonial-style homes, white picket fences and a living history farm next door, it was the perfect setting for a home that celebrates American style every single day. Inside, Kimberly freely mixes antiques and reproduction pieces, all in her signature palette of red, white and blue — anchored by shades of mustard and tan that keep the color story from ever feeling overdone. Every room has an American flag or two. Baskets, wooden bowls, crocks and yellowware are arranged in twos and threes throughout. The blue stepback cupboard in the living room, the antique primitive trunk used as a coffee table, the Old Glory sign above the fireplace — each piece chosen with a careful and collected eye. And don't miss Kimberly's one-of-a-kind she shed — an interior room she claimed as her own personal retreat, lined with baskets, redware and primitives arranged exactly the way she loves them.
