Ra --------------------------------- 🙏 (பல்லவி) வரி விழி தர வருவாயே ! அகிலாண்டேஸ்வரி உமையே! - அருள் (வரி) (அனுபல்லவி) வழி புகன் றருளிடு வாயே - திரு வானைக் காவளர் மாமயிலே! - அருள் (வரி) (சரணம்) தறியினில் நூலிழை அலைவுறல் போல்நான் தடுமா றுவ தறி யாயோ! தரிசனந் தரவொரு கரிசனமிலை எனில் தயவா னவள் எனல் ஏனோ! அறி விழந் தேனோ ! நெறி பிறழ்ந் தேனோ! அடைக்கல வழி மறந் தேனோ! பரிவருள் தாயே! பரசிவ மாயே! பயிலுமை பதிஇசை யாலே -அருள் (வரி) Here is the meaning (Pallavi) Grant me the grace of your compassionate glance! O Śrī Akhilāṇḍeśvarī, You alone are my Mother—bestow your blessing. (Anupallavi) Lead me upon the right path with your grace. O Great Peacock-like One, Guardian of the sacred Tiruvānaikkā! Bestow your blessing. (Charanam) Like a thread upon the loom, tossed to and fro, I waver in uncertainty—do you not see? If you do not show me even a little compassion by granting me your sacred vision, why then are you called the Compassionate Mother? Have I lost my wisdom? Have I strayed from the righteous path? Have I forgotten the way to your refuge? O Mother of tender grace! O Supreme Śiva's own Divine Power!
