END of the SD40-2s? FOUR SD40-2s on The Rapid City, Pierre, and Eastern Railroad + RARE ALCo HH660

Is the SD40-2, and EMD, dominance rapidly coming to an end on The Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern Railroad? Major changes are coming to this beloved regional railroad in terms of the locomotives they use, and how the trains will look! All is safe....for now, but changes are coming, and SOON. We'll get to see an awesome chase of FOUR classic EMD SD40-2s roaring down the mainline with over 115 cars! We'll chase train MMNAU from Mankato, MN to points west on a nice sunny July afternoon. With four locomotives, over 115 cars, and many cool locations, this was a great chase. As the train starts to get on the move, we'll get to see a SUPER rare ALCo HH660, and ALCo S4, hidden in the weeds too. From its neat sounding horn, screaming by in run 8, drone shots, and low level views, this was a FUN chase of classic EMD power still hard at work in 2025!
