Welcome to Vanlife in Albania! Our Balkans road trip starts in Albania. And we are blown away by the beauty of Albania's beaches, it's hospitality and views from the road. This week we explore some of Albania's most beautiful beaches, tackle some of the country's notorious roads and explore the ancient ruins of Butrint, a Unesco World Heritage site. A pretty incredible way to start VanLife in the Balkans! We planned to only visit here for a week, but, as you can see, after our first week along the Riviera we are planning to stay here for a little longer! Since 2020 we've been living and working from our tiny home on wheels, as we seek an alternative way of living. We sold our flat in London to live an alternative lifestyle. Quitting city life for Van Life, and we haven't looked back. Our Story: In September 2020, we sold our flat in London in search of an alternative way of life. We bought a van. Had it converted into an adventure van/come office. Picked up a furry co-pilot - our border terrier adventure dog Frank, and set-out on the road. We haven't looked back since.
