Our 18-day road trip through Albania begins in Kosovo at the Mirusha Waterfalls, continues via the spectacular Koman Reservoir ferry and the Valbona Valley, leading directly into the rugged Albanian Alps. We'll visit Tirana with its bunker museum, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Berat, the wild Osumi Canyon, the bustling bazaars of Gjirokastër, the turquoise beaches of Ksamil, and Aquarium Beach – then up to the Llogara Pass and down to Clandestino Camping near Shkodra. The highlight: the winding road into the Theth Valley with a hike to a waterfall! We conclude in Montenegro: Durmitor National Park and the Tara Canyon, Europe's deepest canyon.
