Soy Frankelda | Guillermo del Toro me obligó a verla... y tenía razón | Crítica sin spoilers
Guillermo del Toro keeps saying that if you don't see Soy Frankelda, you're a total jerk, and well, with that kind of premise, what else could I do? So I went to the theater and came out blown away: this Mexican stop-motion film, created by Arturo and Roy Ambriz, is a gem made with imagination, talent, and a whole lot of heart. In this spoiler-free review, I'll tell you why Soy Frankelda is one of the bravest productions in recent Mexican cinema, how it combines horror, fantasy, and a reflection on creativity, and why it deserves all the support it can get. If Guillermo del Toro says so, listen to him.
