To Dance With Blood and Blade

My second video so far, hopefully it's not too rough. I have been enjoying this process so far, and am admittedly glad to not have to go through such a long list of credits this time, because: Works Cited Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition (2020) Created by FromSoftware, Inc., directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, and co-published by Activision That's all the credits for this one, everything you see on screen was gathered by me inside of this game, which was a good experience to have. I think I learned a lot about what goes into gathering footage, and while many of the mistakes live in this video, that's in large part because learning comes from mistakes, and lazy people (me) don't go fix them later. I also think I have a better sense of what types of videos I want to make going forward, in particular with the writing. The writing in both the videos I have made so far has been pretty terrible. Very unfocused, all over the place, and struggles to make a point without drowning anything meaningful out in unnecessary fluff. Fluff that's fun to write and say, but ineffective at conveying any kind of point, which is ultimately what I want to do within these videos. That being said, I am very eager to take what I have learned in this and the last experience forwards, and hopefully produce something I am much more proud of. Either way, for all of this video's faults, I do appreciate the fact that it exists, and for a moment I was considering scrapping it entirely, but figured I might as well put the last six or so hours in and finish it out. Whether I'll regret that going forward is yet to be seen; I was, perhaps foolishly, hoping that, after the first video I made, that the second would be where my experimenting and learning could take a backseat, and I would make something great, but alas it was not so. So in a sense this video is a bit of a let down, I'm disappointed in myself in many aspects throughout this video, but also, I will try hard to remember those disappointments when moving forward with the next project I'll tackle. To close a dragged description on an already dragged video, thank you if you're reading this, I hope it brought you something of note to your living. Stay tuned for an unknowable something to come.
