Cleaning CANON E3370

Today's guide is on cleaning the print head to fix missing black ink and color distortion on a Canon E3370 printer. 1. Plug in and turn on the printer. Wait approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the printer. 2. Load 3-5 sheets of paper into the paper tray, or more if convenient. 3. Observe the monitor screen. A normal screen will display "0". 4. Then press the screwdriver-like button once. The monitor screen will display "1" (blinking) and a screwdriver-like icon. 5. Then press the Black or Color button once. 6. Wait 10-30 seconds, depending on the printer. The printer will print a test page to check if all four colors are printing correctly. If all four colors are printing correctly, the process is complete. If not, proceed with cleaning the print head. 7. Perform the cleaning process. Then press the screwdriver-like button three times. The monitor screen will display "3" (blinking) and a screwdriver-like icon. 8. Then press the Black or Color button once. (If the black ink is missing or not coming out, press the Black button once. If the colors are missing or distorted, press the Color button once.) 9. Wait 3-5 minutes, or until the monitor screen shows 0. 10. After completing the first cleaning cycle, repeat the process 2-5 times. After that, print a test page to check if all the colors are coming out correctly. 11. If the problem persists after 3-5 cleaning cycles, check if there is ink in the cartridges. Remove the black and color cartridges. 12. The black ink cartridge is PG-47 or number 47 / the color cartridge is CL-57 or number 57/57S. 13. Use a tissue to wipe under the ink cartridges (both black and color cartridges) to check if all the colors are coming out correctly. If the black and all four colors are coming out correctly, but the test print shows missing black ink or distorted colors, then there is a problem. This indicates that the cartridge is faulty and cannot be fixed; it needs to be replaced with a new ink cartridge. 14. If you use tissue paper to wipe under the ink cartridges (both black and color cartridges) and no ink comes out, check if there is ink in the cartridges by injecting ink into all four colors with a syringe and then using tissue paper to wipe under the cartridges. (Both black and color cartridges) Check if all colors come out correctly. If the black and all four colors come out correctly, but the test print shows missing black ink or distorted colors, it means the cartridge is faulty and cannot be fixed; it needs to be replaced with a new ink cartridge. 15. After refilling the ink cartridges, if you print a test print and the black and all colors come out correctly, it means the ink cartridges are working normally, but there is no ink in them, so you need to refill them. That's it. ...Finally, I would like to thank you for watching and chatting. Please like, share, and subscribe.
