The only destination in Thailand to which I could find a redemption seat on Finnair was Phuket. I like Phuket but I've been there quite recently so rather than staying there I decided to fly straight on to Bangkok, as I knew I'd be flying back home from there. But instead of flying to Bangkok, I spotted a flight to an airport 2 hours south called U Tapao, on a flight operated by Bangkok Air. Who are one of my favourite airlines and may be one of the best airlines in Asia....
