11 Day Hike Through Nelson Lakes National Park, New Zealand

Here is a little video of my solo hike through Nelson Lakes National Park, New Zealand. All in all it was about 160Km of hiking with some fishing along the way. The Hike started at St. Arnaud to Lake Rotora and up the Sabine River to Blue lake which has the clearest fresh water ever measured. From there I went up and over Waiau pass and off track to Lake Thompson. Then up I headed up and over Thompson pass and down to the D'Urville river and back down to Lake Rotoroa. After a couple nights, I made my way up Mt. Cedric to Lake Angelus where I spent a night and headed back to St. Arnaud. Hopefully you enjoy the video and I cannot recommend the hike enough! I could have shaved a couple of days off if I needed to, but I had a some slow days fishing and exploring around. For those looking to do something similar, my bag started around 35Kg, which is on the heavier side, and ate my way through 10 Kg or so of food.
