Tak Rilis Tersangka! Oegroseno, Said Didu Hingga Asfinawati Pertanyakan Transparansi Penyidik Polisi

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) have yet to announce the names of any suspects following searches and the seizure of evidence related to three corruption cases. This is believed to have sparked varying opinions from Commissioner General (Ret.) Oegroseno, Saut Situmorang, Said Didu, Selamat Ginting, Asfinawati, and Maruarar Siahaan. Oegroseno explained the stages of investigation according to the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), starting from the police report, the SPDP (Suspect Determination) and the determination of a suspect based on at least two pieces of evidence, to the search and seizure mechanism. Meanwhile, Saut Situmorang believes transparency in investigations is crucial to avoid creating negative perceptions of the law enforcement process. Said Didu questioned the failure to announce suspects despite the publicity of evidence. Selamat Ginting, Soleman B. Ponto, Asfinawati, and Maruarar Siahaan expressed their views on the need to reform law enforcement agencies, strengthen accountability, and the President's steps to ensure good coordination between institutions.
