Building a Room in the Derelict Barn | Renovation Project (Ep.4)

The heatwave in England was short-lived, and this week the rain returns to the valley. With the weather closing in, we adapt our plans and begin building a simple timber frame inside our derelict stone barn. What started as a practical solution is quickly becoming "the snug" — a warm, dry space where we can shelter, relax and make food while we continue the long process of restoring the barn. We also clear more ivy from the old sheep pen and tackle some of the many jobs that come with bringing a neglected building and its surrounding land back to life.
