Stihl HS45 Fuel Delivery Repair

In this video, I work on a Stihl HS45 hedge trimmer that wouldn’t run properly. After checking things over, I traced the problem to the fuel system. The engine wasn’t getting the fuel it needed from the carburetor, which made it impossible for the machine to run the way it should. I replaced the carburetor, got everything back together, and then tuned it to make sure it was running correctly. Once the adjustments were finished, the HS45 was back to running like it should. If you’ve got a hedge trimmer that’s hard to start, won’t stay running, or seems to have fuel delivery issues, this video may help point you in the right direction.
