Antique Clamp Restoration - Extremely rusty Bar / Sash Clamp. Very rare model.

This is a very rare and extremely rusty sash clamp/ bar clamp I purchased to fix a broken chair. Needless to say the clamp itself needed a beauty treatment first. Being over 100 years old, I did not want to make it all smooth and mirror polished as it would have taken away its character. The cast iron was badly pitted, mainly the bar so i did not not want to take too much off it , trying to keep it as original as possible. Thanks for watching.
