Toy Trains!! The Color Country Model Railroad Open House 2021

More from the Color Country Model Railroad Club 2021 open house in Saint George Utah. This week we are visiting the toy trains! Large "O" scale and smann "N" scale. The Color Country Model Railroad Club is located in beautiful southwestern Utah, the best know attractions are Zion Canyon National Park, Snow Canyon State Park, and Red Mountain. The fantastic climate is also a plus! This week several Toy Train layouts. First up, the "N" scale micro layout of Rich Wilson. Not really a toy train but an N scale layout, but still a classic toy train loop. FUN!!! Next up, the Clubs Lionel layout. Three large three rail modules that can run on their own or interconnect. they are taken to shows, and they are open to the idea of selling any one of them and starting another. After all, the building is the funniest part! Next is the MASSIVE Three Rail layout of Jim and Becky Mullin. WOW! And the night lights... After the shadows fall, this city really comes to life!! Several hundred feet of track, more structures than you and count, and scores of collectible pieces of rolling stock. On to the three-rail layout of Bob and Nancy Mallory. Another classic large Lionel layout. The garage has been turned into a train room. A fun space with TV and room for people and FUN. Then off to see Dan and Sandy Mangiaracina. Classic vintage and antique Lionel toy trains! Even pre-war tinplate. Working features and just old-school fun! And let's not forget American Flyer!!! Off to see Richard Schacht. One of the best collections of mid-century Plasticville O-S scale structures. We LOVE these fun kits from the mid-fifties and sixties. The trains and track are mostly modern S scale. The track really looks more like Atlas HO track. All fun. A great American Flyer pike!!
