Yubinuki Thimble Ring (Pt. 2)

Hi everyone, Welcome to Pt.2 in the Yubinuki Thimble Ring mini series. In this video I'll you show how to make a very quick and easy mandrel so that your Yubinuki thimble will be a perfect fit for the finger you want to wear it on. Whilst you can use all sorts of things as a mandrel, the method covered in the video enables you to make any size of Yubinuki and this is often necessary for some of the more modern Japanese Yubinuki designs. The items you will need: A sheet of A4 paper... any kind of scrap paper or junk mail is fine. A pencil Tape - masking tape or sellotape, either is good. A craft knife and metal edged ruler or a guillotine or scissors... whatever is your preference for cutting paper. Enjoy the video.
