Exmouth to Lyme Regis
Sailing from the river Exe to Lyme Regis in early April. We decided to turn to Port for a change and head across Lyme Bay to Lyme Regis. This is a great anchorage in a gentle Northerly wind. We used a vacant mooring buoy so we could get behind the harbour wall but this proved to be a mistake due to my tidal miss calculations. Even so a great sail and some stunning empty beaches on the way.
