After months of searching, planning and dreaming, this is my first real adventure aboard Tara, my Cornish Crabber 24. From seeing her again for the first time, packing away what seemed like an impossible amount of gear, slipping quietly out of Salcombe, unexpected autopilot problems, dolphins joining the voyage, and finally arriving safely alongside in Guernsey as the sun began to set… This wasn’t just another sailing trip.
