Reality Is Boring. Deal With It.

We have been taught that truth arrives with thunder. That a real experience should feel like something. But reality offers no show because reality has nothing to prove. Fireworks are beautiful because they are rare. Reality is ordinary because it is constant. And we have been running from the ordinary our whole lives. The mind begs for spectacle. A sign. A vision. A breakthrough that finally makes us feel alive. But the present moment has never hurt us. It just sits there, empty-handed, offering nothing. And that nothing is the problem. We want more. More proof. More feeling. More spiritual growth. But wanting cannot be satisfied by getting. Seeking is just the mind avoiding the fact that we are already home. Silence is not a destination. Silence is what we are when we stop begging for a performance. So sit. Breathe. Stop waiting for the explosion. Nothing is missing. That is the only truth.
