Why We Aren't Going to France... (Our Plans Have Changed)

For years we've been planning one incredible adventure: taking Deux Poissons from the UK, across Europe and eventually all the way to the Black Sea; Down the Danube. Like many long-term projects, our plans haven't always gone to plan. After years of restoration, gearbox problems, and then our engine failing just as we were leaving for France, we finally fitted a brand new engine and thought this was going to be the year... Then life stepped in once again. In this video we explain why we've decided not to head to France this year, why we're staying on the River Thames, and why we're actually excited about what comes next. Instead of rushing through the UK, we're slowing down, exploring the Thames properly, spending more time with family and friends, and discovering places we'd previously cruised straight past. France hasn't gone anywhere... our dream is simply on hold. We hope you'll continue following our journey as we explore more of Britain's beautiful waterways before eventually setting off for Europe.
