NORAD On Airspace Busts
They say practice makes perfect but for pilots navigating the increasing prevalence of restricted airspace the opposite seems to be happening. NORAD is responding to more busted TFRs than ever these days and the reasons are depressingly common. We spoke with Steve "Stretch" Armstrong, the Vice Director of Operations for the joint U.S.-Canada airspace defense alliance about checking NOTAMs and TFR sites to stay out of trouble.
