The Perfect York Day Trip! 🏰 York Minster, Vikings & Chocolate

Today we’re heading to the beautiful city of York for a weekend packed with history, chocolate, and Vikings! Our first stop is Cave Castle Hotel & Country Club in South Cave, where we’ll be staying for the weekend and checking out the hotel and spa. From there, we’ll drive to York, park at the Park & Ride, and catch the bus into the city. We’ll explore the historic streets, walk the ancient city walls, and visit the magnificent York Minster – the largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe. We’ll also be experiencing Europe’s largest Viking Festival, bringing history to life with incredible displays, costumes, and entertainment. To round off the day, we’re heading to the famous York’s Chocolate Story experience for a tour and, of course, a visit to the shop! We hope you enjoy coming along for the adventure.
