Turns out it was a good decision as the hull was in worse condition than I initially realized, and it ended up taking the guy we contracted to do the job about 9hrs to patch and refloat the boat. Anyways, we finally got transport arranged for this boat, and as we have been for all of these big boats, we’re taking it over to the seafood shack where our crane guy will pull it out and put it on a trailer where it will be hauled off for demolition. At first glance, it was clear that the hull had taken significant damage, more than we wanted to handle at the time. Without transport available and facing extensive repairs, we decided to wait—and that decision turned out to be the right call. It took our contractor nearly 9 hours of hard work to patch up the damage and refloat the vessel. Fast forward to today: with transport finally arranged, we’re moving the boat to the seafood shack. Our trusted crane operator is ready to hoist it out of the water and onto a trailer. From there, it’ll be hauled off for demolition, marking the end of its journey. This project has been a testament to patience, planning, and the effort it takes to salvage a vessel in such poor condition. In this video, you’ll see the aftermath of the hull repairs to the final transport. It’s always rewarding to see the job through, especially when dealing with boats of this size and damage. Stick around to see how we bring it all together! Thanks for watching!
