How to cook Egbo Yoruba Food| Egbo with Beans & Ata- Dindin| Egbo (corn meal)
Hello lovelies, in this video I am sharing with how to cook Egbo( Corn Meal). Growing up Egbo is one of my favorite food after Ekuru. It is a special local delicacy associated with people from Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria Egbo is better eaten with soft cooked Beans and Ata dindin( pepper sauce). Egbo can be eaten at any time of the day and it looks more like rice. Egbo is not difficult to cook all you need is crushed dried corn that’s shelled and make sure you remove any dirt if there is any. You can easily buy the corn in markets and take it to those who blend pepper to crush. Note; the grinder must have a dry mill and must also be familiar with crushing Egbo that makes it easier. You also have to the job of making sure you sieve out shaft and stones before cooking to avoid biting stones when you eat your Egbo. Watch the step by step process of how to cook Egbo in the video.
