Galop from The Comedians

The Comedians' Galop by Dmitri Kabalevsky is his most famous work and comes from music from a children's play called The Inventor and the Comedians written in the late 1930s. The composer later included ten works originally from the play in the concert suite The Comedians in 1940. Ricky Lomabardo arranged the Galop movement for flute ensemble. Jennifer Nelson performs this version on alto flute, flute and piccolo.
