What Can an Office Computer from 2000 Do? - Minor Repair, Exploring Linux, Finding a Use for It!

This was a long one... In this video I repair an ancient computer and set about seeing just what it can do. I manage to replace some capacitors, re-assemble the machine, install Linux, install a desktop environment and an arcade emulator to play some games! I use this computer as part of my setup now with a spare monitor and peripherals; it is a fantastic writing machine as there's no RAM or processing power spare for getting distracted! It is horribly inefficient but using an inefficient computer is far better than scrapping it and building a new one. I apologise for the audio crackles and the occasional poor jump cut. I can't hear the audio as I'm recording thus I miss the crackles. As for the jump cuts that are out of place, I recorded a lot of footage over a large time span hence it's not always easy to put it in a fully flowing order! I'll get better and my equipment will improve with time. I appreciate your patience.
