Want More Fruit? Do This Before Spring!

This spring, I want our biggest fruit harvest yet — and it all starts with one job I never skip before the season kicks off: pruning. Today I'm taking you along through the orchard as I prune our fruit trees here in our small space, subtropical garden, sharing what I'm doing (and figuring out along the way) to set them up for loads of growth and fruit this season. We're growing in Brisbane, Australia, in a subtropical climate, so pruning here can look a little different to what most gardening content covers further south. In this video, I prune our cherry, nectarine, mulberry, pear, apple, and pomegranate trees (all subtropical varieties suited to our climate), and I also talk through repotting our blueberries into more acidic soil to help boost their harvest this spring too. 🔔 Subscribe for more videos on growing your own fruit and veg in a small space here in Brisbane — new videos every [add your upload schedule here] #fruittrees #pruning #subtropicalgardening #brisbanegarden #urbangardening #growyourownfood #springgarden #backyardorchard #blueberries
