It may not look as vibrant as full coverage, and it takes confidence to wear your grey proudly. ✨ The perfect colour If your priority is a rich, flawless colour, you’ll need regular maintenance, including root touch-ups and toners, to keep it looking fresh. ✨ Low maintenance This is one of the most requested goals, but it also limits your options. The less maintenance you want, the more compromises you’ll need to make with colour and brightness. ✨ Healthy hair If protecting your hair’s condition is your priority, every colour service should be chosen carefully. Healthy hair will always look more beautiful than over-processed hair. My rule is simple: Your hair should ideally have no more than two colours—your natural base and the colour you choose to add. The fewer tones in the hair, the softer, more expensive, and more natural the result looks. Be careful about changing your natural base to a colour from the opposite colour family. This often creates a harsh line of regrowth, leaving you with three or even four different colours in your hair over time. One thing I always tell my clients is this: I’m not colouring your hair just for today. I’m colouring it for the months ahead. Anyone can make your hair look beautiful when you leave the salon. That’s the easy part. My focus is on how your hair will look 2, 3, or even 6 months later. Will it still blend beautifully? Will the regrowth be soft? Will the colour fade gracefully? Will your hair still feel healthy? That’s what truly matters to me.
