The Secret of Consultation: To achieve the desired color, we must understand your hair type, color history, and how you’ve treated your hair. It is essential to see you before your appointment for a comprehensive consultation. During this session, we not only learn about your hair but also understand your goals and future plans, not just how you want to look in the next three months. Perm and Semi-Permanent Hair Dye: Using permanent hair dye involves penetrating the hair, forcing the dye deep into the cortex, where it becomes part of your natural pigment. This makes grey coverage challenging, especially as roots grow back, creating harsh lines. The continuous use of dye often results in darker hair, which makes grey more visible and necessitates frequent retouching—a never-ending cycle. Semi or Demi-permanent dyes only coat the surface of the hair’s cuticle layer. Since this layer can open and close, the color gradually fades, leaving grey hair looking softer. This method requires maintenance every few months. Lifting: Lifting is the most crucial step in the coloring process.
