After a Night Shift, I Found Peace with a View of Mt. Fuji 🌿

After a night shift, my body was quietly asking for the mountains. I made a day hike up Mt. Shakushi, a peak known for its clear views of Mt. Fuji. There was no wind at all that day, and honestly the climb was tough. But by the end, walking had done its quiet work — my mind felt clear again. At the summit, I cooked zenzai — sweet red bean soup with mochi — and ate slowly while looking out at the view. Lately I've come to love this time at the top, just sitting and eating without rushing. This little bit of empty space feels like a real luxury. Every time, I find myself imagining the next warm treat to make and enjoy in front of a great view. Small happiness, gratitude, and a quiet sense of accomplishment — I got to taste all of them again today. A quiet journey to breathe again. 🌲 Filmed at Mt.
