Govt Appeals APIYO to Withdraw Capital Bandh Call; Addresses Key Public Issues Arunachal Pradesh State Government Spokesperson Minister P D Sona on Thursday appealed to APIYO to withdraw its proposed 24-hour Itanagar Capital Complex bandh during a press conference held at the Civil Secretariat. Addressing the media, Sona said the demand concerning the weekly market has already been fulfilled, while action against illegal immigrants is underway. He also informed that 12 illegal masjids have been shut down and three sealed. On the issue of demolition, he stated that it rests with the concerned landowners.
