Arunachal govt strengthening PHE&WS through recruitment & promotions: Pani Taram #arunachalpradesh

Itanagar I June 08: MLA and Advisor to the Minister for Public Health Engineering & Water Supply (PHE&WS), Pani Taram, on Monday said that the Arunachal Pradesh government is making sustained efforts to strengthen the department's workforce to improve service delivery and administrative efficiency across the state. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the induction training programme for newly recruited Junior Engineers (JEs) in the PHE&WS Department, Taram said the government is prioritizing manpower enhancement in all sectors and departments, with special emphasis on technical and field-level positions. He noted that the induction of new Junior Engineers marks a significant step towards addressing manpower shortages and improving the department's operational capabilities. Responding to concerns regarding the practice of Junior Engineers and Assistant Engineers holding charge of divisional offices in an in-charge capacity, Taram expressed confidence that the issue would be resolved through the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) process. "Once the DPC is conducted, most of the issues related to in-charge postings and career progression of JE and AE officers will be addressed," he said.
