Windsurfing On Snow

An old Fanatic wave board, a 3.7 m sail, knee deep powder, and winds 20-30 mph made for a fun first day of winter windsurfing! Made a simple short wood fin for a small amount of directional stability without the depth of a regular windsurf fin. The board tracks ok, but aggressive carving turns the opposite way due to the short fin and reverse sidecut - this board is made to carve while going way faster on liquid water, not sliding relatively slowly over snow. Still a blast and can't wait to try again!
