59 - Small Changes in Our Living Room

In this video, I share a few small changes made in our living room as winter slowly gives way to thoughts of spring. Now that the fireplace renovation is complete, it felt like the right moment to finally hang the pieces I had patiently gathered over time — gilded boiseries, plaster bas-reliefs, antique textiles, and delicate decorative objects. Rather than following trends, I prefer to let our home evolve gradually, allowing each room to reflect where we are, season after season. Decorating with antiques has taught me patience, restraint, and the joy of waiting for the right piece to come along. I also share how I like to work with antique fabrics and textiles, switching cushions and materials as the light changes, bringing subtle colour back into the space while keeping its soul intact.
