Don't miss this recipe. Ingredients: 150 grams of raw sesame seeds = 1 cup = 12 tablespoons (if you find toasted ones, even better) 80 ml = 8 tablespoons = 1/3 cup of vegetable oil (use an oil with a neutral smell and flavor). Preparation: Preheat a very large skillet over medium-high heat, allowing the seeds to spread evenly. When hot, add the seeds and toast them, stirring constantly until they cook evenly. Let them turn golden brown and release their delicious aroma; then they're ready. (If you bought the seeds toasted, skip this step.) Pour the oil into the blender or food processor and immediately add the sesame seeds. Initially, you'll end up with a very thick paste, but keep blending until it begins to thicken. Blend for approximately 10 minutes. If you want to maximize the flavor of the sesame seeds, use a neutral-flavored oil to enhance the flavor of this cream. Blend the sesame paste again with a little more oil if you want a softer consistency in this cream. You can now place the homemade tahini in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
