GEN-UP Film Part 1: The Research Process

GEN-UP Film Part 1: The Research Process** introduces the methods, partnerships and participatory approach behind the GEN-UP project, *Upskilling for Future Generations*. Filmed across Sierra Leone and Cameroon, it explores how the research team worked with young women, youth researchers, TVET providers and local partners to understand the gendered barriers shaping access to skills training, informal livelihoods and decent work. The film highlights the importance of listening to young people’s own experiences and shows how participatory research can generate richer, more grounded evidence for gender-responsive education and employment policy.
