Coach Mimi Kane is a perfect example. Before becoming Coach Mimi Kane, Philomène Aminata Kane was a promising athlete: a regional track and field champion, sprinter, and long jumper. In 2012, an ankle injury abruptly ended her track and field ambitions. Rather than give up, she chose to reinvent herself. It was almost by chance, during a Body Pump class, that she discovered a new calling: fitness. Today, after more than ten years of experience, six years of studies to become a physical education teacher, and specialized training in Morocco and France, she supports hundreds of women and men every day who want to get in shape, improve their health, and build lasting habits.
